Participation Charter

It is primarily aimed at users, students and staff of the schools and the General Management. It offers spaces for contributions to projects, discussions within the community... It enables rich interaction between space managers and users. All these exchanges, proposals and contributions must be made with respect for others, copyright and the beliefs of each individual. Benevolence is the first quality that contributors to these spaces must demonstrate.
The purpose of this charter is to define the principles and values governing contributions to the platform.

- Argue your positions in order to foster constructive debate.
- Avoid jargon, slang and SMS language;
- Avoid repetitive comments and content (spamming); repeatedly sending the same thing does not increase the impact of the content;
- Be tolerant in exchanges, express yourself politely, insults or other personal attacks will not be tolerated;
- These areas of expression must be compatible with the Institut Mines-Télécom's main areas of activity: training, research and partnership innovation.
The following are therefore prohibited:
- Attacks or insinuations based on race, creed or lack thereof, ethnic origin, gender or sexual orientation.
- Insults, harassment, serious unproven or notoriously inaccurate assertions about people or organizations
- Advertising messages and classified ads
- Messages containing political opinions or religious references.
